Growing child is a family owned business based on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. Hello, my name is Grace and I am a primary school educator and I bought the business in February 2025 as I am passionate about educational resources and giving our children the best opportunities to learn. I have lived on the Peninsula my whole life and live with my partner and my two dachshunds. My passion is education  and with the support of my mum Sarah, who has 25 years of running small businesses, we aim to provide  exceptional customer service to all our clients across Australia! 

Kinders and preschools are huge supporters of Growing Child. They definitely need products that are both educational and fun but that can also stand the test of time, given they are handled and played with by dozens of children every day. Preschools and daycares across Australia have been amazingly supportive of our message to offer children a wide range of quality, natural, long lasting products that will inspire young minds. We want all children to explore, create, play and learn.

We are not a traditional toy shop - you won’t find stock here that you would in chainstore retailers. We offer only professional quality products that will inspire your children to learn whilst having fun, and look after the environment where possible too! We stock sensory toys, fidget toys, calming products and additional aids for children with learning challenges such as ADHD, or children on the Autism Spectrum. We also stock an ever increasing range of Steiner inspired products and toys.
