This real Dinosaur bone has been turned into mineralized gemstone after the dinosaurs became extinct over 65 million years ago. The original calcium matrix of this bone has been replaced by silica minerals over the millenia. This sample of bone was collected from bone beds located on private ranch land in Utah, Colorado and North Dakota. No unique species of dinosaur or complete skeletons were destroyed to create this package of our prehistoric past. Information included with small magnifing glass. This piece measures 42mm across.
