Trilobites 443 - 488 Million Years Old

Name : Elrathia Kingi  ( a type of Trilobite )

Age : Middle Cambrian 443 - 448 million years old.

Formation : Wheelers Shale

Location : Millard County, Utah, U.S.A.

Trilobites were marine animals with a  hard shell, antennae, compound eyes and jointed legs. Researchers suggest there could be over 15,000 species of Trilobites, some growing up to 2 feet long. Some were known to have swum, some drifted with ocean currents and some others such as these ones ( E. Kingi ) crawled along the sea floor. These are the most abundantly found fossil in the U.S. Each measure approx. 25mm long and 18 - 20mm across. Sold separately.
