We are pleased to offer shipping for all our educational toys, games, and arts and crafts exclusively to Australian addresses.
Australian Addresses Only: Growing Child currently only ships within Australia. We cannot facilitate international orders at this time.
Excluded Areas: We may not be able to deliver to all PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers due to the size of some educational items. This will be indicated at checkout if applicable.
Orders are typically processed and actioned within 1 to 3 business days of payment confirmation.
Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
We will notify you immediately if there are any expected delays to your order processing.
We use reliable Australian courier services and Australia Post. Shipping options and estimated transit times are 3 to 10 days. Please note that delivery times may vary for regional, rural or remote areas.
Tracking: All orders include tracking. You will receive a shipment confirmation email with your tracking number once your order has been dispatched.
Delivery Issues: Growing Child is not responsible for delays caused by the courier service or issues once the package has been marked as ‘Delivered’ by the courier. If your package is lost in transit, please contact us so we can initiate a formal investigation with the carrier.
We want you and your growing child to be completely happy with your educational products. If you need to return an item, please read the conditions below.
We accept returns for a change of mind within 30 days from the date of delivery, provided the following conditions are met:
The item is in its original, unused, and resalable condition.
The item is in its original packaging (unopened and unmarked), including all manuals and accessories.
You can provide a valid proof of purchase (order number, invoice, or receipt).
Please Note: Return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns are the responsibility of the customer.
For hygiene and supply chain reasons, the following items cannot be returned unless they are faulty:
Items explicitly marked as “Final Sale” or “Clearance.”
Opened arts and crafts supplies (paints, clay, glue, kits with opened consumables).
Any product that has been used, assembled, or removed from its internal sealed packaging.
To initiate a return for a change of mind:
Contact Us: Email us at sales@growingchild.com.au within 30 days of delivery, providing your order number and the reason for the return.
Wait for Authorisation: We will assess your request and provide you with a Return Authorisation (RA) number and the return shipping address.
Ship the Item: Clearly mark the RA number on the outside of the package and ship the item back to us. We recommend using a trackable shipping service.
Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), you are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
If an item arrives damaged, is faulty, or does not meet the consumer guarantees under the ACL, please contact us immediately (within 7 days of delivery) with the following information:
Your order number.
A detailed description of the fault or damage.
Photographic or video evidence of the fault.
We will assess the claim and, if the product is deemed faulty, we will cover the return shipping costs and offer a full refund, replacement, or repair, as required by the ACL.
Refunds: Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 7 to 14 business days.
Exchanges: If you require an exchange, we recommend returning the original item for a refund and placing a new order for the desired item to ensure stock availability.
